Guild Ladder - Guild Wars Forums

I have no idea if someone posted this before or anything, I searched a couple time..I got nothing myself.
So i must ask, Whats the deal with the guild ladder? Does it go back up when the tournament thing ends?
If so when is the planned time for it to end?

The ladder records the battles won and lost of every guild and places them in a rank relating to thier success. The ladder freezes at the end of each season and the top guild battle it out to win the Seasonal Playoffs. After these have finished, the ladder is wiped and all guild start from scratch.
